The Committee, Coaches and Administrators who run and manage HKFC Youth Rugby are all volunteers who are keen to pass on their rugby playing skills or willing to help organise youth rugby activities. Most but not all are parents of players and anyone is invited to volunteer. Interested parties should contact a Head Coach or member of the committee - see Committe/Head Coaches.

The volunteer coaches at HKFC Youth Rugby are provided with a full programme of formal training in coaching techniques and skills through IRB Coach Education Courses organised and run by the HKRFU and occasionally by HKFC Youth Rugby. These provide coaches with the opportunity to become qualified IRB Coaches and are run by highly qualified and experienced rugby coaches. HKFC Youth Rugby recommends that every volunteer coach attends the course relevant to the level of rugby that they are involved in.

Full details of courses run by HKRFU and downloadable application forms to register for these courses are available at the HKRFU website. Click on the link below to access the relevant coaching courses page of the HKRFU website.

All volunteer coaches at HKFC Youth Rugby may be called upon to fulfil rugby refereeing duties and, in order to coach rugby effectively it is important to have a full knowledge of the current laws of the game of rugby. HKFC Youth Rugby therefore recommends that all coaches also attend the Referees Courses run and operated by the Hong Kong Society of Rugby Football Union Referees (HKSRFUR). Full details of these courses and a downloadable registration form can be found on the HKRFU Website under the following links:
